Forbidden city - Chiwen and imperial roof decoration

The chiwen, a sort of Chinese gargoyle is the ornamentation dragon of buildings that protect (among others) from bad weather.
Figurines (terracotta) on the roofs protect from evil spirits.
Here, there are 5 animals (always odd numbers). The more animals there are, the more important is the inhabitant of the place. At most, there can only be 9 animals (for the emperor).
