Ming tombs - Changling gateway

Changling is the sepulture of emperor Yong Le, the third emperor in the Ming dynasty. He is buried with the empress. The 16 concubines were, by "tradition" of that time, buried alive with the emperor...
It is another Ming, Zhengtong, great-grand-son of Yong Le, who ended this "tradition" in the mid-fifteenth century.
Each mausoleum is composed (at least) of a entry door, a gate of eminent favor, the palace of eminent favor (where ceremonies were held), a Square Tower (or Tower of the stele) where the name of the emperor was written, and the burial mound that covered the underground palace, tomb of the emperor and empress.
And for each mausoleum, these buildings were aligned on an axis.
