Summer palace - Statue of bodhisattva Guanyin

This is the Bodhisattva Guanyin (Avalokitesvara in Sanskrit), with 1,000 arms, who can take 33 forms... She is the bodhisattva of compassion and she is emissary of Buddhas Sakyamuni and Amitabha.
NB : The Bodhisattva is worshipped in the buddhist great vehicle.
