Temple of heaven - Danbi bridge leading to the hall of prayer for good harvests

The path leaving from the altar of Heaven is slightly higher towards the hall of prayers for good harvests to symbolize the ascent to Heaven.
The central door was reserved for the divine. The emperor went to the east (right) and the nobles and officials to the west (left).
The compound is square (symbol of Earth) and the door and the wall are covered with green tiles (symbol color of Earth).
