Tian'anmen square - "the heart of China"

During my visit, the 56 "national unity columns" were distributed on the two longest sides of the square and symbolized the country's ethnic unity. They were removed in late November 2009 after the anniversary of the 60-year of the regime, and should be placed at the Olympic Park.
