Jeongdeungsa temple - Jeonryunjang

Originally, in Korea, the sutras (sacred texts) used for reading (and not the relics) were kept in the main hall of the temple. Then jeonryunjang appeared. It is a kind of "turnstile" in which are placed in the sutras. Turning it one time is like reading a sutra one time : "convenient" for those who could not read or did not have much time... It looks a bit like a Tibetan prayer wheel...
Note : there may be a different spelling. Trying to translate it from Korean I get yunjangdae...
