Jeongdeungsa temple - Buddha Tejaprabha

Tejaprabha is the Buddha of Blazing Light. He is associated with stars and often comes along in Korea with Chilseong, a Shamanistic deity integrated with Buddhism. At his side are the bodhisattvas of the sun and moon. There are also the seven Buddhas, the princes of the seven stars and seven figures personifying Chilseong, the spirit of the seven stars of the Big Dipper. In the center, on the bottom, there is Taesangnogun, easily recognizable by the prominence of his head. The other characters could represent planets and constellations.
