Gyeongbokgung palace - Stupa

This stupa was built in the 11th century to house the relics of Buddhist monks. After the invasion of Korea in the 16th century, the Japanese moved the stupa from the temple of Beopcheonsa to Osaka in Japan. It finally returned in Korea but was destroyed during the Korean War. It was rebuilt in 1957.
