Bongeunsa temple - Buddhist and shamanist painting

A Buddha of Blazing Light is represented in the center : Tejaprabha. Under him, we have, down right : the bodhisattva of the Moon and down left : the bodhisattva of the Sun.
Around him, the characters represent 28 constellations. Seven characters on the bottom (sorry, they are cut off in the picture and we can only see the caps) represent the seven stars of the Big Dipper and thus Chilseong, by syncretism of shamanism in Buddhism. We can also see the seven Buddhas and anoter figure of shamanism : Taesangnogun with an enormous prominence of the forehead. The other characters may represent planets...
