Statue of Liberty of Grenelle bridge
This bronze statue was donated by the community of French based in the USA for the centenary of the French Revolution. It measures a quarter of the size of the statue in New York
and was made from a model carved by Bartholdi (the sculptor of the statue of Liberty).
Note 1 : the original statue itself had been offered by France to the American people to celebrate the centenary of their independence.
Note 2 : there are other replicas in Paris, in Orsay museum and in Luxembourg Gardens; and many others around the world.
