Statue of Liberty of Grenelle bridge

Statue of Liberty of Grenelle bridge

This bronze statue was donated by the community of French based in the USA for the centenary of the French Revolution. It measures a quarter of the size of the statue in New York and was made from a model carved by Bartholdi (the sculptor of the statue of Liberty).
Note 1 : the original statue itself had been offered by France to the American people to celebrate the centenary of their independence.
Note 2 : there are other replicas in Paris, in Orsay museum and in Luxembourg Gardens; and many others around the world.
