Jade Buddha temple - Heavenly kings, guardians of East and South

At the entrance of Buddhist temples, there are four heavenly kings who protect the four cardinal points. They also correspond to a season...
Thus they protect the temple. They are not to be confused with two other guards who protect the Buddhist faith.
Here the first one with the lute is the guardian of the east. The second one with the sword is the guardian of the south.
