Forest of steles - Stele evoking the Nestorians
A stele of great value (not pictured because too much reflection...) evoke Nestorians, early Christians in China in the 7th century.
Nestorianism was born in the 5th century from a patriarch of Constantinople, Nestorius, who advocated that two persons, one divine and one human coexisted in Jesus Christ.
This Christianity disappeared from China in the 9th century, when Confucianism, advocating social life, was privileged from religion.
