Waujeongsa temple - Scene from Buddha's life #7

Siddhartha teaching what he learned to 5 "companions". He draws on the ground the "wheel of the Law" (representing the successive lives).
His teaching (Law), called Dharma, is based on 4 truths 
- Suffering : "everything is suffering"
- Cause of pain : "desire, often dissatisfied"
- Cessation of pain : "suppression of desire"
- Way to this achievement : "the method to desire nothing"
Note : The 4th truth, the noble eightfold path, is available in 8 ways (faith, will, action, language, life, application, memory and meditation).
Samsara is the name given to the cycle of successive rebirths.
