Here, the main attraction is to kiss the Blarney stone up the tower, the main vestige of the castle. Beaware, to do so one must lie on one's back with shoulders just above the heights... Nearby, Blarney house is an elegant dwelling that can be visited during summer. 10 km (6.2 miles) further, one can go by the town of Cork, the most important town of Ireland after Dublin.
