It is an interesting visit because in addition to the castle, there is a folk park comprised of several reconstructions or typical Irish buildings from different periods (with the famous peasant thatched roof houses) moved there.
Folk park
In the folk village, you can see farms with thatched roofs but also with slate roofs, houses of fishermen,
a church, the street of a village of the 19th century... you can go into most houses in order to discover the antique furniture.
The horseshoe hung up on the doors was supposed to bring luck.
Castle
There are nice furnitures and a few great typical chandeliers !
If booking quite in advance you can take part in a medieval banquet.
