Tweety with umbrella and bowler hat in United Kingdom

United Kingdom

Blenheim palace[Unesco]

The site is listed as an Unesco world heritage, but I did not find it greater than other palaces I had visited in Britain.

The palace is built in a baroque style and the large library, with its organ, is the "highlight" of the inside visit. Winston Churchill was born here and we can visit a permanent exhibition on his life.

On the side gates of the entry to the courtyard, we can see statues of a lion, symbolizing UK, pulling down the cock, symbolizing France...

The gardens and the park are lovely with a nice waterfall. Moreover it is so wide that we can stroll as long as we want.
