Salisbury cathedral

The Gothic cathedral, located in a churchyard, dates back to the 13th century and its spire is the highest in England. The west facade is decorated with statues.

In the chapter hall of the monastery, one can see the Magna Carta which laid the foundations of several democracies. For example, it provided the basis for a trial with jury.

Still in the cathedral we can find the oldest clockwork of England.

Near the cathedral, one can notice, on an arch, the arms of the British monarchy and its motto "Dieu et mon droit", as well as houses in medieval style.
